Trains and Trains and Trains
So I'm in Prague and it's incredible. The architecture and restaurants are amazing. I just ate at a New Orleans inspired jazz club and had the Czech version of a cheeseburger. I miss home a smidge.
Last night was great. we were in Salzburg (the sound of music homeland) and it was pretty impressive. We drank beer brewed by monks in some majestic beer garden. We met some aussie guys and gals and now I want to go to Perth. Apparently there are 6 girls for every guy. nice.

Salz
Salzburg rules. perfect balance between tourism and home-town feel. the hostel we are at is top notch, and the people here are a ton of fun. we wen to a beer garden where the beer is brewed by monks (i think) after a couple rounds we went back to the hostel for more drinking and music and became good friends with some aussie folk. ill post pictures when i can. right now i am on the 1 euro-and-hour internet and im just catching up. we got to see mozarts birthplace and residence when he was a child. we also got to check out some really awesome forts and statues.
next stop prague, then berlin. i dont know what to expect. prague will probably be touristy. florence sure was! i looked at polimoda school of fashion and now im pretty sure i want to spend some serious time there learning the trade of shoemaking.

Europe.1.Getting There
I flew out at 4:30 from Charlotte to Frankfurt Germany.
Ambien didn't work.
I drank a rum and coke.
the Ambien worked. . . .
I get to Frankfurt and have a 4 hour lay-over.
I ate breakfast (pictured).
I feel asleep and didn't wake up on time.
missed my flight to Zurich, caught the next one out at 1:45.
Got to Zurich,
then looked for my brother for 2 hours.
he saw me, we drove to Hohenems, Austria and walked a lot, then slept after a great meal.
Today we're going to a cook-out for his football (american) team, then tomorrow we head straight to Florence. yes.
